My computer is not doing well

Hi everyone.  I may have downloaded a virus and my laptop is out of commission for the time being.  Which means all the pics from the last week are MIA for now.  :(  Super sad.

But we have had a great week!  We went to the Renaissance Faire with Wendy, Dean and my mom, the Taste of Edmonds with my mom, the Zoo with our meetup group... and found a daycare!

The daycare stress was intense for me this week, but I feel great about the place we found and was able to get a discounted price, which is a big relief as daycare for a baby is crazy expensive.  Finding the right person and the right price is so stressful!!  The woman's name is Ellen and she is very attentive to the children, the behavior, their relationships with one another and treats her daycare as a second home to the kiddos.  She is very kind and what really sold me the most was how she was with Hailey.  She couldn't wait to hold her, and did so so comfortably.  She asked if the other kids could hold her (as they were hoping to when she told them we were visiting) and she had them all wash their hands and sit on the couch supported by the arm rest... she just naturally had it all set up just right to make me and Hailey feel safe!  The other day cares I visisted didnt even ask to hold Hailey and the one that I offered to did hold her for 2 minutes before putting her in a swing!  So not only do I feel Hailey will be well taken care of, but also Noah.  As I said, she was very attentive to the things that I also hold great value in - social skills.  And the kids I met were SO well behaved!!  She also said she works on academics (as long as the kiddo is interested) and has many of her kids reading before they go to school!  Her hours a a little inconvenient and she is a little farther way than our last day care... but I think she will be well worth it!  When Gabrielle told us she was closing her day care, I was bummed, but I thought I may be a blessing in disguise... with Ellen, I do think that will be true.

Before going to the zoo on Monday as a playdate with friends, we went to Mae's on Phinney Ridge and had the breakfast I have been thinking of since before my birthday... It's called the breakfast of champions and includes...

Yup, a shake!  Can't have a bad day if you start off with dessert, right?!

Here are Hailey and I at the zoo:

So, that's all I have for you for now.  Hopefully Chris can save the laptop or I can at least get the important stuff off it before it is totally gone!!  Eeek.

Tomorrow marks Hailey's 2 month birthday, so I will have an update for you next week.  We are going camping in a yurt this weekend, so her update will have to wait.  :)  So excited!!
