Hailey is 2 months old

Hailey turend 2 months old this past Saturday and we went in for her 2 month check up today.  Noah came along too, this time jsut to get his second Hep B shot.  They both did amazingly well with the shots.  Noah cried about 3 seconds after the shot was given, but then stopped soon after when we decided to read some stories.  Hailey got three shots (and an oral vaccine) and only cried for under a minute.  Then she was fine when I picked her up and comforted her.  Later in the day she was quiote fussy, but settled when she fell asleep in the Moby with me.

Here is Hailey in the doc's office.

Her stats are impressive!
90th percentile for her length!  23.2 inches!
Just under the 50th percentile for her weight.  10 pounds, 7.5 ounces.
The 50th to 75th percentile for her head circumference.  15.4 inches.
She smiles a lot and holds eye contact for ever with me!  She will follow me with her eyes well, too! Shehas sorta giggled here and there, though nothing really good yet :)  She has cooed a tiny bit here and there as well, so I have heard her sweet little voice.  Mostly, she still grunts.  :)  We spend time each day just looking at each other, sharing our thoughts for a while.  She's soo sweet!  She will suck on her hand at times, but she takes a pacifier well.  She will weight bear on her legs a bit and holds her head up really well.  She still hates tummy time, but she is strong and the doc said she is doing well in that regard.  The doc did say Hailey favors turning her head to the right, so we need to get her to turn to the left more.  I told Chris that means he, as the lefty parent, needs to take over now.  ;)  Hailey will hold on to things when they are placed in her hand, though not for too long. She still loves taking a bath and doesn't get as upset when they are over.  She is starting to sleep through the night, not usually needing the 3 oclock hour feeding anymore (although she did the last two nights, darn!).

In this last month, little Hailey has been doing lots of adventuring.  She has: gone for her first jogs in the Bob and Doble Bob (we ran 2 miles together a few times!), spent time at Juanita Beach Park, Seward Park, Golden Gardens and the Locks,Idylwood Beach Park and Ballinger Lake, Turtle Park where we met other babies, Bothell Landing Park, saw Caspar Babypants at Richmond Beach, met Oscar and Evan, went to Camano Island, the Kirkloand Car Show, Farrel McWhiter Park again, "saw" the Muppets at the outdoor cinema, visited many daycares, went to Evergreen's Parent and Baby classes, gt her hand and foot impressioned in clay, went to her first Ren Faire with Grandma, Wendy and Gruncle Dean, to the Taste of Edmonds where she got her butterfly wings, the Zoo, her first restaurants (Lotus Thai, then Santa Fe, then Mae's on Phinney Ridge), and went camping in a yurt!

She was in such good spirits for her photo shoot... especially considering she had three vaccinations today!

That's 23.2 inches!!

And finally, she had enough... but she's still so darn cute even when she is crying and mad at Mommy.

But, I saved the best for last!
Sweet Hailey Bug :)
