Morning Kayak Tour in Canyon, Lake Powell - We spent the night at Wahweap Campground on Lake Powell and got up super early again... an hour earlier than necessary actually because our phones could not figure out what time zone we were in! We then went on another kayak tour with the same outfit, but different leaders. Brady and Jamon were great fun, the scenery was even better, and the weather was perfect! Amazing trip of exploring and swimming and even cliff jumping. Good company in our group of 15 as well!
Upper Antelope Canyon - After the amazing 4 hour kayak tour (should have been 3, but they gave us extra time due to our crazy experience the day before) we had just rush across the way for our next reservation. Again, the skies were gloomy and it even started to sprinkle as our tour was leaving... but the guides were not concerned in the slightest about a flash flood. So... to Upper Antelope Canyon we went - many a famous photo have been taken here. Our guide, Demetrius, set out cameras up for us like the day before and we got amazing photos. So much awesome.
Our last day - tubing - Thursday night we headed back to Zion and camped once again. It actually rained a little that night. We had a relaxing morning or souvenir shopping and TUBING! Yeah, tubing the Virgin River wasn't even on my radar. So glad we happened upon a tubing rental place near where we got ice (1-2 times a day) and had time to fit it in. It was the cherry on top of an incredible week. SO Much Fun. Later that day we brought Dave to Fort Zion where he picked up a shuttle to St George where he picked up a shuttle to Vegas and flew home to Boston. Fort Zion was a fun picture taking place. We stayed in a cabin our last night at Zion River Resort (about 25 mins from Watchman CG). It was a perfect way to end the trip - pool, free showers and a chance to clean out the car and organize.
