Today the whole family had a nice picnic lunch under the shade of a tree at Willows Run Golf Course. Perfect weather today, partly cloudy and in the 70s. After lunch we went to Rainbow Run for some mini golf. The kids and I had been here a few times before, but this was Chris' first time. I was surprised to see how busy it was, since I had only been there on a weekday morning in the past. We all picked golfer names, some of us went with characters form cartoons or shows we watch, and then Chris picked Edwin. Noah was Comet form Astro Blast. Hailey was Princess Celestia from My Little Pony, and I was Birdie from Alaskan Bush People. Edwin was the winner with 2 holes in one and just better skill, ha! Noah preferred to play "Silly Bears", no idea where the term came from, but that basically just means you hit the ball in any manner you want and get the ball in in any manner you want. He was feeling disappointed that he didn't win, though, so maybe next time he will take more care to concentrate and try a different approach. Still, he LOVES mini golf! Hailey pooped out and wasn't so interested in playing much of the game, but she still did pretty well when she did play! Rainbow Run is really pretty, lots of pretty trees and landscapes, a foot bridge and a cavern, ponds and a fountain. A nice family afternoon!
