Hailey is 8 months old!

Wow! 8 months already!  :/  Not sure how I really feel about that... but cutey pie Hailey is doing great!

She is crawling now.  She is also pulling herself up to stand and creeping along things.  Her favorite spot these days is standing at the Fisher Price music table pushing buttons and moving things.

She can turn pages in a board book, using her right and then left hand.  She seems to be more of a righty now.  She claps.

She is interacting with Noah more, tugging on his ear, climbing onto him.  He isn't as patient as I'd hoped with all this, but sometimes he loves it and they have fun... other times he tries to push her away or gets mad if she goes to touch something he is playing with.  We'll get there. :) 

She is picking up small little cheerio type snacks to eat.  She is still is picky about her foods and won't eat purees, although she is eating rice cereal now.  Also, avocado, banana chuncks, pear slices, sweet potato, she's had carrot, too.  She doesn't like butternut squash and peas.  I need to get more things in her diet... but she has been going through pooh issues and has a cold now, so we'll get there.  She is on a soy-based formula and she and her digestive sustem seem to really like it!  :)

She talks a lot, mostly still saying dada and yia yia and variatons of that.  Ga and other typical baby sounds too... but still no mama.  She totally knows her name and will turn to you when you say Hailey. 

She uses a pacifier only at bed time and does not suck on her fingers, although I dod see her with one finger in her mouth at times, but it is more to gnaw on.  She still seems to be teething, but nothing there yet.

Right now she is dealing with yet another cold, but we went to the doc after night one due to a fever and an unusually sleepless night... all is weel now.  Fingers crossed she wont get another ear infection!

She goes for rides in the Ergo on hikes alot this month!... and spent a lot of time on me this past three days since I have been on a mini vacation and she has been sick!  I love it though.  It's nice to be able to spend so much time with her!!!

Oh, and of course this monthg she went to her first "concert" and saw "Elvis" and loved it :)
