Hailey is 7 Months Old!

Hailey has turned 7 months old already!  :(  My baby is getting old way too fast... and I feel like I am missing so much this time around working full time.  I did initiate a baby play date with some other moms for the first weekend in Feb and hopefully it will become a regular thing.  Hailey hasn't met another baby since she was 2 months old!  She does get to spend her days with Noah and the girls at daycare, but everyone is years older than her.

She is able to go from laying down to sitting and sitting to laying down.  She still cant get herself to go forward, but she will sorta belly flop forward slightly now.  She gets around by going in circles and backwards, so she doesn't really get around too much.  She's great at sitting up for ever now and will get herself into crawling position and downward dog often.  She's been in a baby swing a few times now and loves it.

She likes to hold her hands together and will hold a banana with both hands to get it to her mouth.  She likes to bang on the table or floor and is showing a left hand preference.

She babbles like crazy and says Yia Yia and Da Da a lot (though of course not naming anyone, yet).

She likes to stare at people, even strangers.  She will smile a lot too, but still carries that very serious look on her face. :)  Her favorite is still watching Noah, he makes her smile all the time and sometimes she will laugh at his antics.

She does not like jarred purees of any kind, but she does seem to like bananas, she loves avocado, she likes pear and homemade pureed sweet potato and carrot.  She did not like butternut squash or peas or rice cereal.  She is back on Alimentum, the stuff that costs $27.99 a can, because her pooh is very loose... still trying to figure that out. She does seem to like the taste of her toes, though.  :)

She will help get dressed by extended her arms into her sleeves.  She totally knows her name.  She does put everythingin her mouth, of course, and will grab her pacifier and put it in by herself... not so much sucking on fingers anymore!  Yes!  She has been drolling a lot, seems like she's teething. 

She goes to bed between 7 and 8 and wakes between 1230 and 430.  Seemed like between 330 and 430 was the norm, but then it wasn't anymore!  And she sleeps the first part of her sleep in Noah's room now, until she wakes up, then she comes back into our room usually.

She has had a stuffy nose the last two nights and I am really hoping she doesn't get sick like last time and get ear infections again!!!  Fingers Really crossed!

Hailey also celebrated her first Xmas and opened presents quite well.  She enjoyed bouncing on big trampolines with Mommy and Grandma.  She met Yia Yia, who came to visit us!  She started sitting in shopping carts on her own.  She celebrated her first New Years.  She touched snow for the first time.
