My Noah! He is just as amazing as ever!
He weighs 32 pounds (50th-75th percentile!)
He is 3'2" (25th-50th percentile)
His head is 15.58 (25th - 50th percentile)
At his doc appointment, Noah was able to answer all 4 safety questions - doc said kids his age usually can only answer one! Good boy! He passed all other "tests" with flying colors! He can tell you his full name (sometime with a little prompting) and he can tell you he lives in Kirkland. He is learning the days of the week. He says his favorite color is yellow. His favorite foods are pasta and bread. He still loves his cars and talks about them all the time. When I ask him what he did at day care each day, he always tells me he played cars. He also loves monster trucks now. He loves books.
Noah still loves doing crafts and making projects. He will get his own supplies out and start creating. He can cut on lines and curves. He can write his name in caps when provided with starting dots and verbal cues. Noah knows all his colors and many shapes, he can identify numbers 1-10 (most of the time, 10 throws him off, though), he can sort and match. He can identify lowercase letters (I dont know how many, though). He can do small buttons on his own clothing and zip (can't latch a zipper though) and he is getting better at taking his clothes off and putting them on, although he still asks for help most of the time because he gets frustrated. He really likes doing things all by himself most often... but sometimes he pretends he can't do something. He is toilet trained since May (he has had a few night time accidents this last week though... but we seem to be back on track). He is not a picky eater! He will eat all sorts of things and even just recently decided he likes mushrooms. He likes to say "Maybe when I am bigger, I will... " like such and such. He still sucks on his fingers in bed, despite buying a finger guard that was supposed to eliminate the habit... drat. He likes to play board games and does really well taking turns. He will share and is thoughtful. He can be defiant at times... but most of the time he makes me incredibly proud. I often hear him playing with his cars, doing pretend play scenarios. He is a good climber and he recently started riding his own bike, with training wheels, without any problems at all. He is great at kicking and catching a ball. He loves throwing a frisbee and all sorts of sporty things. He keeps asking to go back to gymnastics class, which he loved mostly because of the huge trampolines... hopefully we can get him in a class soon... that and soccer and swimming would be awesome. He did however break two bones this year - his foot and his collar bone! His daycare provider, Ellen, said he is advanced in all areas... although he needs to work on being a better listener. :( We'll work on that! This past year Noah has developed a strong love for Caspar Babypants, he goes to sleep to his CDs every night and has been known to burst into song "Butterfly driving a truck, yeah, yeah!" In fact, this has been his first full year of living in Washington! He's been to lots of concerts and festivals, went geocaching, hiking, and all sorts of fun! But most notably - this year Noah became big brother! And an amazing one he is. Really. He treats Hailey so incredibly well. He is the best big brother EVER!
