| This is my new favorite picture... the West Coast Biron family, my mom, my uncle Dean, me and Noah, and our handmade Santa faces. :) Best ever! |
... and this is the end. :)
We had lots of fun sharing our gifts with one another. It is so great to have my mom and uncle here to share the holidays with! We really missed our Carlin-side of the family too, who we had spent out last few Christmases with in San Diego before moving back to the Northwest. We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, Yia Yia, Papa, Jeff, Summer, Jack, Chase and Sydney!
Then we got to Skype with our East Coast family and then we had am awesome dinner, made by my excellent cook for a husband. He made a fancy green bean casserole, some fancy-amazing sweet potato dish, and a new york roast. So good!

I will let Noah tell the story about Christmas day...:
Merry Christmas! This morning I woke up thinking about Santa! When Mommy came into my room I asked about him! Mommy told me he came last night! Yipee! So after having to wait patiently for mommy and daddy to get ready (and help me get ready) we went downstairs. I was a little surprised, because I didn't see Santa! "Where's Santa, Mommy?" And before she could answer me I heard a "Ho Ho Ho" coming from under the blankets on the couch! And I saw a Santa hat poking out of the blankets! Wow! Was Santa really here? Well, after "Santa" asked me if I was a good boy he wanted a hug... I was a little nervous so Daddy walked me over and then... Surprise! It was Grandma pretending to be Santa. Silly Grandma, she's so funny! But look! Look at all the presents the real Santa brought!
| Yipee!! Cars!!! |
After we hung out at our house for a while, Mommy, Grandma and I went to Gruncle Dean's house to play games, sing, dance, eat dinner and play more games. This was one of my favorites:
I loved running around and crashing onto the pillows!! Such a blast! I also love going into Gruncle Dean's basement where he DJs some fun music and has all sorts of fun lights all around. We had lots of fun and had a wonderful dinner of ham, I love ham, and I tried something new: swiss chard with "magic sauce"... it was... okay. Anyway, time to go play with some more toys, I'll let mommy finish. Merry Christmas!!
Magic sauce is actually a really, really amazing balsamic vinaigrette Dean has that can make things that are normally disgusting into something you want more of! I never would have though IIII would eat Swiss Chard myself, never mind go back for seconds!
Thank you all so much for your gifts and cards and messages of love and joy! We are so grateful for everything and everyone we have in our lives.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
