In other news, I felt a little earthquake at work on Thursday Jan 29th in the morning! It was 3.0 in Redmond, WA - not far at all from where I work. It felt like a quick jolt, almost like if a huge truck had gone by only a bit stronger than that. I was testing a student at the time and we were both like "was that... an earthquake?" It was so short and minor that we were 100% convinced it was! Luckily nothing more came after! But so much for getting a standardized score for that timed test! Lol.
Last Sunday I went to a Casey Abrams concert and he was amazing live! It was a butter concert than I anticipated. Went with my mom, Dean, Wendy and Mike. Really great show at the Triple Door!
Two weeks ago the Seahawks won a game that put them in the Super bowl for the second year in a row. The entire city and west coat it seems has been celebrating and is in love with this team. I have to admit that after watching the history making game I became a football fan. Never thought that was possible, but we are going to a Super Bowl party today and I am actually excited! The crazy thing is, the New England Patriots are the team they are playing against... ad of course all my east coast peeps are routing for them! This will be quite the game! I even bought a Seahawks tshirt! The 12th man community is contagious! I love it! :) And, I got to be in a 12th man photo at one of my elementary school!
I took the kids on a couple hikes over the last few weekends. Twin Falls and Talus Rocks, with a stop at Snoqualmie Falls! I carried Hailey most of the way and Noah hiked all on his own! He is amazing! We has lots of fun!!!!
And, Gruncle Dean come over a few weeks ago to play with the volcano kit he gave Noah for Xmas! Super fun!
