Noah is 5

Okay, sure so Noah is 5 years and 1 month and like a week... but I finally have time to write up his update! :)

Noah is 41 pounds (50th percentile)
44.7 inches (75th to 90th percentile)
BMI 14 (10-25th percentile)

Noah is in preschool, in the Ready Start program at Sandburg Elem.  This is his second year of preschool.  His previous preschool teachers really thought he would be ready for kindergarten, but we didn't want to rush him and since his birthday didn't meet the cut off, we went with another year of preschool.  So happy with the decision and Noah seems to really love his preschool class too!  He goes 2 1/2 hours 4 days a week and Ellen brings him to and fro since the preschool is literally across the street from day care!  His preschool parent conference meeting - he is "above standard" in almost all areas.  Teacher's comments "Noah came to school the 1st day with a smile on his face and ready to learn! He follows all the routines/rules of the classroom and is a fun and engaged participant in music, movement and discussions.  Noah is very social and has made special friendships.  Sometimes he is challenged to raise his hand for his turn to talk in large group, but easily redirected."  :)  His teacher also said the she and her co-teacher have joked that he is the OT's son because he's got so many great skills.

This year Noah saw his first play, took another gymnastics class, a swim class and a soccer class for the first time. Over the last year he learned how to read and how to ride a bike without training wheels. Noah made his first ever leprechaun trap this year. I tested Noah's visual motor skills in March and he was in the 99th percentile!  He's gotten quite the sense of humor and I hear him giggling at silly parts in movies and cartoons.  He has wanted to be a map worker, a soccer player and an artist. He participated in the ice bucket challenge this year.  And so much more...
