Today was a gorgeous 70s day and I decided to take the kids to Point Defiance Zoo! We had never been. It was so much fun. they had a blast. Noah's favorites were the playgrounds and rolling down the hill, Hailey's were the meercats and aquarium, and mine was the walruses! After the zoo we went to Owen Beach for a bit and then on the way home I drove west when I saw the sun was setting and happened upon Des Moines Beach Park, which looked like a fun tide pooling place and was a great place to watch the sunset! And we even saw a harbor seal (?)!
Perfect day with two perfect kids! :)
