I ran the Shamrock Run with Hailey and Noah on Saturday in my town. Noah got out and ran part of it... and I walked part of it this time; Kirkland is too hilly! whew! the night before hailey and noah made their fruit loop rainbow necklaces for a snack during the race... the fruit looks were gone before the race even started!
Noah and I made this leprechaun trap, our first ever. I told him I had heard leprechauns like the color green, rainbows and of course gold. he wanted to draw him a rainbow and sign his name with a heart. He also thought the leprechaun would like some green toys to play with (toy lettuce, a dino, and the army dude) and a green blanket to snuggle and rest on. He also thought he would like some lucky charms and came down like an hour after he went to bed to tell me so. He was up so late all excited about his trap!

When I picked Noah up from preschool he told me Lucky the Leprechaun had visited his school when he and his friends were napping and that Lucky had done all sorts of funny things. When we got home Noah was sure it was the same leprechaun that had come to our house! That little guy played some tricks on us and got into the finger paints.
While turning things over and such, Lucky must have dropped some of his gold!

we ended the day with a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner made by chris, and this yummy dessert made by me... noah and hailey's had a chocolate coin on the bottom.
