Noah's First Day of Preschool today!

Big Event today!  Noah went to school for the first time!!  It's actually a Pre-K class.  His school is like 10 seconds away from our place.  His school is called Creative Sprouts and his teachers are Miss Jojo and Miss Carrie, they are both awesome.  The have a garden that the kids tend to and eat from, hence the name of the school!

Today Miss Jojo wrote a "Sunshine Note" for Noah's first day.  She told me he did great and wrote "Noah had a fantastic 1st day of Pre-K @ Creative sprouts!  He gets along very well with all his new friends especially enjoys playing w/ Jeremy and Evan.  Noah had a good rest during nap time and slept for about 45 minutes.  He ate well @ lunch and @ snacks and really loved pushing dump trucks on the riding track and riding trikes!  We are excited to have Noah in our class for the 2013-2014 school year!  Best wishes, Miss Jojo"  Jeremy is actually a boy Noah knew at his last daycare with Gabrielle!  They were happy to see each other.

Today he measured at 3' 5 1/2" and 34 pounds!
Noah's response to what his favorite things are, although I am not convinced he really was able to come up with his true favs on the spot:
Show: Thomas
Food: Macaroni and cheese (this was with some prompting, as his first response was eggs - the thing he was eating at the time!)
Song: The Ice Cream Song (aww, that's My song, how sweet!!)
Color: All The Colors (he's so open minded and accepting of diversity!)
Book: Monster Truck Book
Toy: Monster Trucks (yeah, probably true, that and/or cars - but I was surprised he didn't say Marble Maze)
Things to do: color and play soccer (color?!  huh, not sure about that one.  soccer, that makes sense!)
When he grows up he wants to be "nothing" and "to play with toys." Great ambition, dude. Lol.

I was so excited for him today!  He is going to have so much fun!  He told me last night and this morning, though, that he didn't want to go... I think he may have been nervous about it.  Maybe I was a little over the top in my excitement for him, I may have been talking about it for like a month.  :)  Miss Jojo told me that Noah asked "Can I come back to this place again?!"

And we topped off the day with First Day Of Preschool Celebration Ice Cream, of course... how can I resist an excuse to have ice cream?!

For now, he'll only be going 2 days a week, full days, with 2 other days at regular day care with Hailey, and one day home with Daddy and Hailey. .
