today we went to one of my all time fav places, Mukilteo lighthouse beach. playground, beach, trains going by, ferries going by, sea creatures, views of islands and snow covered mountains (cascades, my baker)... and today there were volunteers on the beach showing the kids what they found for sea life, a farmer's market even, and we decided to ride the ferry just for fun. and of course get ice cream. it was a perfect day. 30 minutes form home. can't believe how awesome this place is!!
