7.30.13 canoeing, car show, blueberry picking, a set on Flickr.
This past weekend Noah went on his first canoe ride ever! My mom and I went on our third trip on the Sammamish River, three weekends in a row! We can't get enough of it! He enjoyed it and even tried out rowing for a bit.
The next day Chris and I took the kids to the Kirkland Car Show - which Noah loved. He likes to get his picture taken in front of his favorite cars - which would be every single one, I think. THe camera battery was dying though, so we limited the pics to only a few.
Today we went blue berry picking, an annual tradition for me and the kids. It was a playdate meetup this time and Noah had lots of fun comparing how many blueberries he and his buddies picked. There was another boy about his age there and they got along so well. Noah couldn't quite get his name right, Thatcher, so he would say "Hey, friend, lets go over there to those blueberries." Too cute. His mom and I thought the two of them got along so well so we are setting up another playdate for them. Hooray! Hailey also greatly enjoyed blueberry picking. She picked and immediately ate quite a few. Then I put her down for a bit and she say right next to the blue berry bucket - she probably would have eaten them all if I let her. Glad they liked them, they don't eat the ones I buy from the store, but ones that we pick they love! Next up, blue berry lemon scones!
Oh, there is also a video of Hailey playing on her zebra. I am telling you, she has great motor skills! She figures things out on her own so quickly! It's awesome to watch her learn and grow!
Tomorrow I actually have to go to work! Which means I need to pay attention to what day of the week it is now. Just three Weds in a row, and just for 3 hours, to cover Monroe SD's ESY OT services. Hopefully it wont be too bad. Just 6 kids, one of which may pull my hair I am told - so I will be wearing it up, that's for sure! :)
