A week ago today Hailey started to get a nasty cold and I started having her sleep in her swing so she could breathe easy. I knew her cold would lead to an ear infection, I just knew it. Monday I took her to the doc and she had a doudle ear infection and a little bit of the cold was in her lungs. Doc said the lungs were fine and not conerning, but she recommended antibiotics for the ear infections. So we started that Monday and within a day or so she was much better. We go for her 6 month check up on Wed, which will also be a good time to see how her ears are doing. Poor thing. I felt terrible becuase Sunday and Monday she was clearly miserable. Crying. Hailey Never cries and she was pretty weepy. Poor poor baby. She is totally getting better though. The cough will likley linger for a few weeks... but nothing will stop that big smile of hers!
I have a little bit of her cough now and wake up feeling crumby, but soon I feel fine. I did however start PT on Wed, due to back pain and a pinched nerve. He really dug into the muscles and now I have the same pain from before adn really sore muscles. The pinched nerve is causing this intense and insatiable itch as well as tingling and numbness. I cant stand doing the dishes... changing Hailey and typing on the computer are problems too. And I got the results of a biopsy of a blue spot on my scalp, at my part... just a benign blue mole! Hooray.
Monday night Chris called me from his friends house needing a ride home because the truck woudn't start. That sucked. But he figured out what was wrong and fixed it the next day. He's amazing!
I have been working on the annual calendar and all kinds of other projects needing lots of attention and time... I am beat and just getting more tired each day. I can't believe there is one more day of the week. Can't it be Friday already?!
And Christmas is right around the corner. Am I ready? Heck no. Lots to do, lots to do.
